Add SellBot to Shopify

Install the SellBot AI app from the Shopify App Store and launch the chat bubble on any Online Store theme.

Install SellBot from the Shopify App Store

From your Shopify admin click Apps → Shopify App Store and search for "SellBot AI Sales Chat". Open the listing, press Install, and approve the requested permissions. The app embeds directly into Shopify so you never have to copy API keys or manage external webhooks.

  • You must be the store owner or have the Apps permissions to install listings from the Shopify App Store.
  • SellBot automatically detects your primary sales channel and Online Store theme during onboarding.

Connect your product catalog

Once the app loads in Shopify, the setup wizard imports your products, variants, inventory, and pricing over the Shopify Admin API. Confirm the collections you want available in chat and enable auto-sync so SellBot refreshes data whenever you publish updates.

  • Use collection filters to hide draft or password-protected products from the assistant.
  • Real-time inventory tracking ensures SellBot never recommends out-of-stock SKUs.

Train SellBot on policies and FAQs

Inside the SellBot app navigate to Knowledge Base → Policies and add snippets for shipping, returns, warranties, and sizing guides. Combine structured product data with policy snippets to give the assistant full coverage when answering sales questions.

Activate the Shopify theme app embed

Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. In the left panel select App embeds and toggle on "SellBot Chat Bubble". Use the settings panel to choose placement, accent colors, and optional lead capture. Save and publish the theme to push the chat experience live across your storefront.

If you use a headless storefront, enable the Hydrogen or custom channel integration from Channels → Headless instead of the theme embed.
