Add SellBot to WordPress

Install the SellBot plugin from WordPress.org and launch the chat assistant across your WordPress site.

01

Install the SellBot plugin from WordPress.org

Inside your WordPress dashboard go to Plugins → Add New and search for "SellBot AI Sales Assistant". Click Install Now, then Activate. The plugin is available through the official WordPress.org directory so it receives automatic updates alongside the rest of your plugins.

  • If you manage multiple sites, you can install SellBot across your network using WordPress multisite plugin management.
  • Manual ZIP installs are also supported from the plugin listing on WordPress.org.
02

Authorize your site with SellBot

After activation open SellBot → Connect and follow the OAuth flow to link your WordPress site to your SellBot account. Approve the requested REST API permissions so SellBot can read products, inventory, and order status.

03

Sync WooCommerce products or external feeds

If you run WooCommerce, select WooCommerce Catalog during onboarding to import products automatically. For content-driven WordPress sites, you can connect Airtable, Shopify, or Google Sheets instead—SellBot merges that data with any custom post type details you expose through the plugin settings.

  • Use the attribute mapper to align WooCommerce attributes with SellBot product fields.
  • Enable scheduled syncs to refresh availability and pricing every hour.
04

Embed the chat widget

Navigate to Appearance → Widgets or open the Gutenberg editor for the page where SellBot should appear. Insert the "SellBot Chat" block or drop the shortcode anywhere Gutenberg blocks are supported.

If your theme lacks block support, paste the shortcode into a Classic block or use the plugin's JavaScript snippet under Settings → Advanced.
